Overview
The giant kauri in the Omahuta Kauri Sanctuary were protected from logging in 1951. This short loop track leads you through a stand of mature kauri. Omahuta Kauri Sanctuary Walk is a walking track and is approximately 700 metres return and at a comfortable pace can be completed in 30 minutes return.
